My brother drinks black coffee, with just a tsp of sugar in it, I drink "coffee milk, with (too much!)sugar and lots of CoffeeMate.....mine have lapped up some of mine in the past and never had an issue....doesnt happen daily, and it isnt even 1/4 measuring cup full between two-three dogs, and they have done this for YEARS, couple of times a week, with no issues! For last several years, since I put a computer at the desk in my kitchen, they have not done this....they have to wait until I sit in my recliner, put my tea or coffee-milk on the table next to my chair, then I forget and go to the kitchen or laundry room, etc.....they SPRING into action,......it is amazing they have not yet turned the cup over yet!
