I have a new male Yorkie pup that is 10 weeks old. He is doing so good adjusting to our home but at night sometimes he will cry and bark for what seems like an hour or longer in his crate. That's where he sleeps for now until we get him completely potty trained. We've read and seen videos it's best to ignore them when they cry and bark until they stop but it seems to last forever. What is the best way to break one of this? We have another female Yorkie but she was older when we got her and didn't have this problem so a puppy is new to us.
