Owning this little girl has been such good therapy for me. Suffering from advanced osteoarthritis in the feet and knee makes it difficult to get up and moving each day, although that's the best thing for me. Zoee gets me up each morning, takes "me" out several times a day, and takes "me" on two short walks. She is patient with me, always waiting for me to come along. She is learning her command so quickly and even has cut down on the nipping my hands to the point I only have to tell her once. Even if she does forget, she is gentling her bite.
This is a whole new world, having a small dog, and a wonderful world it is. |
