Urohydropropulsion For Bladder Stones I have dealt with many medical issues over the years with several of my dog's past and present, BUT I have never experienced Bladder Stones.
My Willow was just DX'd with bladder stones. We actually found them when she was her abdomen was x-rayed last week due Pancreatitis.
This Friday they want to do the Urohydropropulsion, putting in a catheter and filling her bladder with saline and pushing the stones out of the bladder, IF that doesn't work then they will have to do the Cystotomy on her.
Has any one here ever had the Urohydropropulsion done on their dog and if so how did it go???
As it stand right now we are almost 99.9% certain these stones are Calcium Ox stones as she has the Calcium Ox crystals in her urine. But will know when they are sent off.
Never once has she any signs of having bladder issues, no infection, no UTI , no straining to pee.
