What do you mean by too small for surgery? How small is she?? The hospital I go to does this surgery on tiny pups all of the time.

So sad....but I doubt there is much left for you to do. After these pups have been medically managed for some time, they usually are past the point of surgery working as they develop other shunts. Nonetheless, if she were mine, I would be doing a full workup to see if surgery could still be an option. What has your vet suggested??
