Have you ever tried Denamarin? I have a rescued Shih Tzu (we adopted at age 3), diagnosed at 7, and is going to be 15 in February. We first tried Rx meds but I learned about Denamarin which really helps the liver function. She has never had a seizure after being on this for a couple weeks. My vet is a believer in the Denamarin now as well. I also have my little girl on Natural Balance Vegetarian dog food which she loves.
Obviously, you need to discuss any changes for your baby with your vet before trying anything new, but I thought I would at least share my experience with you. I wish you & your baby only the best. |
