Default Considering a Yorkie

I am considering getting a Yorkie this year and I would like some assistance. I have had several different breeds over the years - from Chihuahuas to Rotties. I prefer the smaller breeds but would like to possibly do agility with my new companion. I have a Pomeranian who is the most amazing and smart dog I have ever owned. However, the double coat is a lot of work.

My main reason for a new dog is companionship. I would like to have a dog that I can bring shopping but is calm. I do suffer from anxiety and a companion would help.

When I have researched Yorkies online, several sites have said they are calm, couch potatoes. Is that true?

Also how to I find a reputable breeder? My pom was the produced of an "accident". My chihuahua came from a breeder but she is a wreck (even for a chihuahua) and was not socialized.

I am not looking to make this decision for several months so any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
