As for the shots. I did not mean he had all his shots. He had his 6 week shots and a week later parvo. He was small and i asked and they agreed he should o ly have one at a time.
I apologize for upsetting you.
As for his "vet" as I stated we are taking him to a new vet tomorrow and trying them. The first place we went he seemed to know little about small dogs and tried to get me to buy flea treatment pills. I am doing my research and checking reviews. So finding a good vet might take time but I will find one. I'm doing all the research I can here and other sources.
I made a mistake. However he is healthy very loved and I'm doing the best I can. The formula he gets at night when he wakes and during the day twice. I should of been more specific. He told me at his visit it wasn't needed any longer to be honest and to not worry about it. I kept giving it after looking some things up online.
I guess I'll keep reading the books and looking online. It seems that if I or others makes a mistake some people get really really upset. I have kids as well. Puppies and kids are learning processes. We make mistakes and we learn from them. I never make the same mistake twice though. :0)
Thanks for the input. I'll let you know what the new vet says.
NO, no! YOU did not upset me....some of the people you are dealing with upset me!!! I am glad you took that and are stoic enough to stand there and not wilt and go off crying! Good for you! Hang in there with the formula....let him have it whenever you want to bolster him up....he is tiny and that is so nourishing for him...it is comfort food.....it makes him feel good all over! You are actively doing research...this is good, just be sure you go with reliable sources.....remember his tiny size....you must take that into consideration just as much as his age, if not more so....

You are doing well with your reading, research, and assessing input! I still would NOT take this baby out in public....he needs to start his vaccinations over because what he has gotten before 8 weeks of age, are null and void....he is so tiny, I would personally wait until he is 12 weeks old and start again with his puppy shots. Do not take him out until he is completely vaccinated....if that tiny soul gets parvo, I am afraid it will kill him. I would NOT give Lepto vaccinations...that stuff is really tough on Yorkies....if the State says you need to give it, give Benadryl 20 minutes before the shot, then stay at the vet for 20-30 minutes after the shot to be sure there are no problems.

You are doing just fine....I am sorry I got crazy on you, but I LOVE that you didnt wilt and run!!! You and your baby are going to do just fine!
