I am OCD to a fault & love schedules & will be changing her diet to new food as they give her food that is bad for her health-especially to prevent further kidney stones.! I have designated my kitchen for her & will buy her the same pet pen that she had but can leave her door open & she will be safe at night. I am home all day & will absolutely keep my eye on her. She was very well mannered & trained BUT she will need to be used to a new home...& thankfully not in a caged pen all day...poor girl! I do worry about her chewing on my many extension cords etc & I have small & huge plants (some are 25 yrs old-those were my babies before) BUT i researched all the food to do & not & the plants! Of course my plants are on the no-no list. Some say wait & keep my eyes on her & she may have no interest. My mom had dogs & houseplants & they never had eaten the leaves (1 just furniture oppsie). And if you don't mind sharing more wisdom..I have allergies. I posted a q about that too! I hope to get as much advise as possible before adding this sweet dog into my life...fur-ever :-) kim |
