I had a foster who had kidney stone surgery. Two weeks after she was still finishing up her meds and still had her staples in but she was acting fine. In fact, the next day after surgery she was acting fine, as I'm sure whatever discomfort she had from the incision was much less than having the stones! She was being fed Beneful which I believe contributed to her health issues. Avoid any foods that don't list a specific type of meat such as beef, chicken, salmon, duck; for example they will just put "meat". And avoid any that have by-products of any type. First ingredient should be a type of protein.

Why are the people selling her? Sounds like they used her as a puppy factory and now she's too old and getting rid of her? Those people don't deserve her. She should be in a loving home and not in a crate all day.
