 I was reading today about hair types
I did not know there were three type of hair Yorkies can have. Wiry, soft and silky. I have a friend that has one that has beautiful long tri colored wiry hair. My Cooper seems to fit the soft hair that makes him look twice his size. It's slightly wavy and very thick. The article said that the silky hair (thin, silky and doesn't tangle easiy) are the only ones that should be bred, because that is the AKC standard. Wondering what kinds of hair do your dogs have? |
