Hello everyone. I am new to the forums and a new Yorkie owner. Gizzy is an almost 9 week old "teacup" Yorkie. He is the love of our life. We have had him for two days and he does have a vet appt for Wed morning.
However...
Yesterday we noticed that though he pees ok his pooping is very odd. Yesterday he went a tiny bit and since then he has only had liquidy stoles when we clean his bum off. He is on a chicken and rice diet and I am wondering if I should add some pumpkin. He is eating ok. Doesn't appear to be in pain. His tummy isnt distended. He is as active as a baby can be. He has pushed so much his little bum is swollen also. He keeps acting like he wants to go but its the same thing. A lot of trying for no results except the liquid.
I plan to check in with the vet and see if I can get him in tomorrow but is there any info anyone can add? Anything I can do to help him in the meantime?
