Keep in mind that even a well-trained adult Yorkie might experience some setbacks when changing homes and adapting to a new environment.
I've read stories here on YT that some "potty trained" pups meant that they were kept in xpens or crates with the entire floor lined with piddle pads. Hard not to miss the target in that case, but not what the average person would consider potty trained.
