Unfortunately, Lacy is still not rid of the giardia, which is very stressful. She started her third round of medication yesterday, and I am on house arrest for the next five days so I can stay home and try to watch her every minute of the day. I have canceled everything on my calendar. Because the problem is, when she poops, she often licks it, so if she does that just once, she will reinfect herself, and we will never get rid of it. Obviously, I can't keep my eyes on her every second but I am going to try my hardest. I just want her to be healthy again! None of my friends even want to hold her when I say that giardia can be transmitted to humans. So I don't even take her anywhere. I cannot wait for the day that she is finally giardia free and we can go visit all my friends!
