He asked you to change the food immediately, but didn't advise you what to change it to? I would talk to your vet and see if he can't be more specific, he shouldn't have just left you hanging like that. I'm not familiar with the fat content of what you're feeding, but obviously your pup needs something lower in fat than what they are currently eating.

First off, I would ask the vet for some rx food that is for dogs prone to pancreatitis and see if that doesn't calm things down and re-check after a month or so. During that time you could work on finding a food that would suit your pup that isn't rx, or even get a balanced recipe for home cooking from a vet nutritionist.
