Just wanted to add in that Sophie is 4.5lbs (maybe closer to 5lbs right now) and she actually prefers the larger kibbles over the small ones. I asked the vet about it and she said as long as she is chewing and not inhaling them, they are fine. My husband and I find the larger kibbles actually make her eat slower as she eats one kibble at a time and chews them.
I hope the interest stays in the food for you! We are currently going through Sophie not being interested in her food and she has been trying to convince her to only feed her liver treats and Natural Balance meat roll! |
