It is a small hard tennis ball, about 2 inches. I gave it to her and she started chewing on it, and was starting to get some of the fluff off of it, so I rolled it away from her and she went and got it! YEA!!!! So I rolled it 20 times and she went and got it every time. Now we have something we can play with. Am so happy! I would not leave that tennis ball with them though, as they may get too much fluff off of it and swallow it. You might want to buy one for your pup, I think most pet stores have them. Good luck. | Have you tried the 'Kong Air' tennis balls? They squeak as well....and they are far, far harder to 'skin' - way more expensive, but last 10x longer...
