Sorry but the purebred show breeder who knows what they are doing do not inbreed. If purebreds have the worst genetic issues then how would you think mixes of those purebreds are going to not have genetic issues? Genes have no idea if they are in a purebred or a mix breed. They will manifest their issues if the right combination is in that puppy from the parents either or both depending on the genetic issue you are talking about. You are also not going to avoid congenital birth defects in a mix as those are a non genetic issues. Congenital birth defects are flukes that happen during the development of the embryo to fetus to puppy born.
As a mobile dog groomer for 24 years now, most of my pet clipping/grooming clients dogs are mixes, small breed mixes. They certainly have their health issues and sometimes with mixes of many breeds managed to have the genetic issues of each of the purebreds in their mixes.
there was a breeder of Goldendoodles, Labradoodles selling scads of puppies some years back. Most of those had hip displasia and ended up being a very heartbreaking experience for the puppy buyers.
