Breeding Biewers and Yorkies or Partis are a big no-no. They produce mutts when this happens.
Feel free to look at my website to tell you about the Biewers. I've been breeding Biewer to Biewer for over 11 years. |
you have confused the heck out of me
here you say Biewers are not a mixed breed unless you own a Biewer Terrier, what does that mean? Are Biewers different from Biewer Terriers? If so I am confused by that since the first ones were have said to have come from a litter of purebred yorkshire terriers where some piebold gene produced white spots, then they kept breeding to get more dogs with white spots. (I wonder how many of the original ones were inbred). So after a lot of white spotted yorkies came along Mr Biewer named this new breed after himself, but unless he was mixing in other breeds they all originally came from yorkies. I have a question for you or other Biewer breeders, since this just started in the late 80's do you ever wind up with a traditional colored yorkie out of a litter?
