I think your preparation just says a lot about you and how you are planning to care for this little one, and I just love seeing that here! So many times, we see people who know pretty much nothing about puppies go out and get one, and then be angry at the puppy bc the puppy is untrained and whines and mouths/bites etcetera. The more prepped/educated you are - the better the outcomes will be, all around, for both of you. It's wonderful to see
