I'm so sorry. This is exactly why we can't let Zeus in our backyard (or any yard for that matter where we live) to "run free." Snakes, raccoons, armadillos, deer, and owls are all prevalent where I live. It's too dangerous. At less than 4 lbs., any of these animals can attack and hurt him. The ones that are the absolute meanest we've come across are the charging armadillos. They charge at us taking our garbage to the road. If you've never seen one on its back legs charging, it's a scary sight. As far as raccoons, that is why we have to have a lock on our garbage can. They can open our lid without the lock. |
