In the past (yearsssss) ago I use to use flea collars, my babies had bad reactions to them, then Front Line came out. I have used Front Line since it first came out (15+years) I bathe my babies once a week, it does not loose it's effectiveness. I live in a heavily wooded area, deer, bob cats, many feral cats and many other wild critters that carry fleas and ticks. Front Line is applied between the shoulder blades."IF" my pup has one flea on him I will get a couple of Flea collars and place them between my sofa cushions, and that is ALL THEY ARE USED FOR.
