Default Considering a Second Yorkie, issues???

We have a little gem in Jack Daniel, we just love him, his disposition is wonderful. We take him with us everywhere. I have the Kelsey Crossbody Dog Bag, which he loves to be in, even naps in it at home, and he loves to go out in it. We have taken a cross-country car vacation and he was a gem of a traveler. We stay at my in-laws occasionally (live 6 hrs away) and he & their border collie get along great. Jack is 11 months old, and the breeder now has a new litter from Jack's same parents. We feel like Jack would love a little brother to play with, and this opportunity has presented itself to have another who would probably be of similar disposition as Jack.

Finally the question: How to juggle 2 dogs when away from home? Jack is 3.5lbs. and we'd take another charting to be about the same size or alittle smaller full-grown. Is it practical to take 2 dogs in one bag on errands, as I take Jack now. How is it traveling with 2? I'd love any advice to help us decide whether or not to give our Jack a little brother.
