Love

I know exactly how you feel, my Abby is now 16 and has no sight and very limited hearing, we have been in our home for 10 years so she knows it very well, and gets around very well, but when I had to start putting her in her bed at night insted of mine, it was very difficult, I also felt very bad not having her with me at night, I thought she would be lonely and sad, so I built a platform, with 3 high sides, open side to my bed, and I put her bed in it. It works very well, I can touch her and also my other Yorkie goes back and forth between my bed and Abby's, so Abby is not alone, Chloe often sleeps beside her and I think that helps too. It must be so hard for them when they can't do the things they are used to doing, I always feel so bad, but just keep trying different things, maybe some fuzzy toys, or putting a hot water bottle covered with a towel in her bed they like warm comfy things. They are such a huge part of our lives, and give us all thier love, and all the funny things they have done through all the years nothing is too much for them.
