You are at a point in your baby's life that is really tough on both her as well as you......any of us with these precious little seniors, know and understand exactly where you are coming from. I ended up buying a rail for my bed....actually two of them, that fit end to end, down the entire left hand side of the bed. This is out of the question for any of us with a sleeping partner!......not an issue with me!......
What you are experiencing is a very real issue and danger...that baby WILL eventually mistep and fall from your bed in the middle of the night....disastrous. Are you putting something with your smell, like a nightgown or robe, in with that little darling, so she knows you are close....and with her bed on the floor in her xpen at your bedside where you can drop your hand over the edge and she can know you are right there, she will eventually calm down and realize she has NOT been abandoned by you, just made safer. |
