I completely agree! Definitely ask for a tour and to see where exactly your baby will be sleeping. If you are sure of your exact date that he'll need to be boarded see if you can speak directly with the vet and staff members that will be on duty and go in depth about his health issues and concerns. If you don't get a good vibe from them, then I would say Rover.com is a good option or hire a private sitter.
