Yes, yes, and yes! All so very true and your last line sums it all up.
I started rescuing in 2005 .. it was after that, maybe 2006 or 2007 when yorkies hit that AKC popularity list that I have grown to despise. I remember at the time that a friend of mine predicted just what has happened....of course there were problems then, but OMG they have multiplied AND the numbers of yorkies being dumped and/or surrendered now are unbelievable. Unless you live it, you simply could not comprehend....it is out of control.
