I think we can understand the depth of the problem, however, what I think many of us cannot understand is what it actually *feels* like if you're of a category of people who are seemingly being targeted. For example, we've heard of many outcries that young black men are being targeted (Treyvon etc)...and I can't even imagine what that must feel like...what that fear must be like.
