Putting a ticking clock where she can hear it may help, and putting a piece of your "dirty" clothing in with her may help. Make sure it is a piece of clothing that if it is torn up is no big deal. We usually use a sock.

Other than that, time and consistency are vital. If you put her in the crate, don't give in and move her somewhere else because she whines (potty trips are fine). If you move her because she whines, she learns whining gets her what she wants. Never give her what she wants when she behaves badly.
