The best advice I can give anyone looking to own a Yorkie is do your due diligence! Go to a breeder. Thoroughly vet the breeder. Know the conditions the dogs are kept in, see the whole operation, don't meet somewhere else to look at just puppies, tell them you want to see the mom and dad and the puppies all together. Doing a few hours of real research on this side of the sale can save you from thousands of dollars after the sale, not to mention the cost and heartache of the worst case that can happen like little Xena.
