All good advice!
My 2nd baby is like that also....a little touch me not scaredy cat....
I just have to be patient and extra careful not to startle her bangin around in kitchen and such or she will run off and hide upstairs behind a door!
Also have to be extra gentle playing ....sometimes my hand will bump her expectantly and she will suddenly stop, glare at me , then take off for her safe place! Make sure they have plenty of those .... And then you need to crawl to them on hands and knees and pant nicely( they love that) showing your not going to hurt them....I swear this all works ...she is really coming around ... Izzy will be 11 months in two weeks....her and Zoey zoom every night before bed and they even let me join in if I sneak up the stairs and pretend to "get them" lol.....plus handle and sweet talk every chance they will let you....izzy comes to me for TLC now and she gets plenty....
Sleeping near me ow in bed helps too....she wants my hand nearby which is amazing.....just takes a little extra effort but do it while they are young...
