I am sorry....tell me again WHY you are wanting to swap food around??? If pup is eating RC and you are even adding some veggies/meat pieces to make you feel like you "are rounding the meal out" like I will do occasionally, I have lost site of what the problem is....I add peas and carrots to the meal for ME, not because the dogs require it!!

I have raised breeding dogs that MUST be in tip top shape, on RC for many years, from cradle to grave, as well as my own personal pups prior to my breeding business, and they have done wonderfully on it. We have no food issues around here, thank goodness! Everyone loves it, eats it, and thrives on it....some would eat one or the other formulas, so I just put everyone on the Adult Mini RC and everyone gets the same formula and thrives on it.....My breeding females have their diet adjusted to the correct RC formula in accordance with their pregnancy, but other than that adjustment for the pregnant females, everyone eats the same formula. No food associated issues or problem, no illnesses with major organ failure....did have one that MAY have had pancreatitis, but she ate the RC diet specifically for that issue, and never had another problem....
