You see I can always count on YT to reassure the fact that I'm not whacky! When I first got Cookie I had to make sure someone was with her at every moment if I wasn't there w/ her. I would wait for my mom to get up before jumping in the shower or I would put Cookie in bed w/ her...
Now when I jump in the shower, Cookie follows me into the bathroom and simply curls up and makes a comfy bed out of my pjs.
The worst was when she used to cry as I left for work...I'd walk to my car in tears!!!
My mom would stay w/ her in the house but I guess Cookie is sooo attached to me its just not the same. Thank goodness she grew out of that...i guess furbabies go through phases like little kids! I am also guilty of passing up on outings..."What about Cookie?" is a very common phrase in my head before responding. I have pictures of her up in my office, cell phone background, frig, etc. So yeah I definitely think it goes both ways...
