I didnt know it was ok to give them fruit either until recently he was all over me when I was eating peaches.. at first I was scared to give him some. I didnt want his tummy to hurt or for him to have diahrrea.. but he loved it and he was fine. SO then I moved on to other fruits and he is loving me for it!
