Dutch is definitely not a lap dog. She is too much of a tomboi to be sitting pretty and luxuriating. She is 3.5 years old so there is a possibility your little one may never be a lap dog
She rather be chasing bugs and birds. Every now and then she will indulge me and sit in my lap for all of.....two minutes.
