Teri I would also like to thank you for this post, just as a reminder to anyone looking for a small breed dog. All my fur kids have been 9 lbs and over, I flip out when I see a tiny, they are just to dam cute and I can understand why ppl want them. I have a family member that has a 3.5 lb baby and worries all the time over him, another family member has a wee one that got under foot and by accident was kicked down 5 steps breaking the front leg. Ppl that want these tiny dogs need to know the pit falls of owning one, educate themselves on the breed not just rush out and buy one not knowing what may be in store for them.
