Yes, you absolutely should be mad and should have gotten an apology. It was both passive aggressive and just plain aggressive behavior. Not to even mention how colossally disrespectful it was - it's well beyond that. It's very hurtful to be disrespected by someone like this, I totally get it. In the scheme of things, is it smaller potatoes bc it's hair? Well, sure. But it's not about the hair here, it's about her disrespecting your wishes, and *very* purposely so, at that! And that's a load of BS in my book.
You don't disrespect those you care about.
