First off, congrats on you becoming a mommy to a yorkie You are in for a lot of fun and love!

Sassyyorkies is correct. My Duncan is 10 months old and weighs 12 lbs. at the moment. Last night my son brought over his miniature schnauzer who is 6 months old. Duncan looked like a little puppy compared to my son's dog. My son's dog's legs were longer than Duncan is tall! Even though Duncan weighs 12 lbs., he is small compared to most dogs. He doesn't realize it though. When we go to training classes, he always scopes out the bigger dogs; sheepdogs, boxers, mastiffs, etc., to play with! He is a little dog in a big dog's body!
