I agree with the others that I would wait until she has all of her shots, with the exception of rabies which is usually done closer to 5 - 6 months ideally. (Max had his earlier, so it is not the end of the world).
Geese poop: no matter what age of the dog, be careful. It can carry Lepto. There is a vaccine for Lepto, but it only covers 4 strains of the hundreds that are out there. Try to avoid good poop eating for many reasons. It's tough. My boys are always after it and bunny droppings.
