I'm not sure what else it could be. I think Karo syrup was a good idea. As for aspirin, our vet told us that baby aspirin was OK for a larger dog. We never asked about a Yorkie.

Edit: I did a search on this site for 'aspirin' and saw that at least one Yorkie owner had been directed by her vet to give her dog 1/2 of a baby aspirin. |

She is still shivering. I am going to call the vet. She did eat kibbles and rice just now, and had a bowel movement, although it was soft, but not bad.
