For Cody's size and weight the med. was recommended, I went with the larger one for the extra room, he can lay comfortably in it. We have it 14 months now, it's marvelous, no more vomiting, no panting, he is just so relaxed. I am soooo happy this seat has worked out, no more leaving him home alone. I even got one for my pick up truck, truck has more bounce and he's ok even in the truck. A small investment to make both Cody and myself happy, comfortable and enjoy car rides.
When you installed the seat did you make it high enough for Duchess to see out of the windows? I also have his seat in the front with me. I would prefer him to be in the back seat, but, there is more road bounce in back seat, even I get car sick if I have to sit in the back, one of the reason's I have him in the front, also, I LOVE to look over at him and see him enjoying the car.
