7lbs is really not that big. My Duchess is a little over 7 lbs and people are always saying how small she is. I had a yorkie that was only around 4 lbs and I constantly worried about her breaking a bone when she jumped off furniture. My house had steps for all of the couches and the bed. Because she was smaller, she was a little more fragile.
Now I have a tomboy who loves to play roughhouse and thinks she is 70 lbs. I love it. I guess with anything, small or larger, they have their pluses and minuses. |
