 Petsmart
I am no expert on vaccine regimens, but I would not care to take a young pup into a pet store. If I take my adult dog in, I always carry him or put him on a clean towel in the basket.
I once was taking my dog into a Petsmart, had my dog on a leash outside the door and he wanted to go up to another leashed dog who was also outside on the sidewalk. I asked the dog owner if it was ok, and she replied 'well perhaps you had better not do so as my dog has Parvo' aaaaargh!!! She had the dog outside on the ground and had I not asked, she probably would not have stopped my dog from contacting hers! I was so upset as I wondered if the dog had been wandering inside the store, so I went in and asked the manager to get that sick dog away from the area!! So you never know what disease is wandering around or on the floors. Some owners have no brains and allow sick dogs to go into stores! |
