 *remember positive reinforcement*
my yorkie is potty trained and for the longest time she would pee only once in a while in the litter box....and behind me back she'll go on the carpet.
The greatest thing is give a little treat and praise ur dog once it does its business in the box.
what i do is the moment she sniffs the floor i tell her to go pee pee, i simply point towards the box....and as she goes in the box...i say good girl*happy voice* she squats...gets a treat! and i promise u she'll be loving her potty time.
do this for a while till u dont always have to give her a treat but a simple praise.
btw///when ur out and ur not there to praise her but she goes and does her pee in the potty, when u arrive home...point at it and praise her, even tho u weren't home....this way she/he, knows that pee belongs only in the potty.
