I went through the same thing this entire month. The only difference is that mine also had kennel cough and giardia but she was treated with Panacur. Keep nutrical at all times and give it to the poor baby often. It may give him diarrhea but that is better than having him in a hypoglycemic shock. I will have you and your little baby in my prayers. Continue to syringe feed him!! That saved my babies life! Monitor closely and make sure he doesn't throw up. Canned pure pumpkin with NOTHING added helped with the diarrhea mine had.
