I have been training my puppies using both. I take them out as much as possible, but when they are inside there are pads available to them and they are doing quite well with it. It will be handy when the weather is bad if I don't have to take 4 dogs outside to potty. The older 2 are only outdoor trained so I have to take them out, but if the puppies can go inside, it would be so much nicer. They are doing well at both.

Yesterday Rowan had 1 poop accident on the vinyl floor in the kitchen. He successfully peed and pooped (twice on the poop) on the pee pads and then went outside several times. I call that a good day! I praise him when he potties on the pee pads and when he goes outside.
