Zeus goes on potty pads and never has accidents. We found this easier since we both work. I didn't want the poor thing holding it for long periods. The funny thing is we put two small pee pads down side by side when he was a tiny puppy, so he would have plenty of room to go. Now he poops on one and pees on the other and will not go the other way around. If there are not two, he will let you know by circling the one. Funny! He will go outside as well, but it is so hot down here, he doesn't go outside very much and certainly not for long periods. He's panting within a minute. He's like me -- I think we actually belong in Alaska. I hate the heat, too. We are also afraid of him being dragged off by an animal -- we are surrounded at my house. Owls, snakes, huge raccoons, huge armadillos, etc. |
