 Help my cousin's dog, internal bleeding
I'm sorry this isn't about a yorkie, but I'm extremely worried, she's my cousin's baby and it'll crush her if something happens.
She's an american eskimo, 10 years old, spayed, healthy before this but is overweight and has anxiety issues.
There are 2 other dogs in the house, an 8 year old eskimo, and a westie puppy.
Tuesday- dark liquidy stool
Wednesday- she passed out, took her to the ER vet, has blood in her stool, high WBC, low RBC & anemic, did an ultrasound, it was clear, gave her a transfusion and sent her home
They're thinking it's an ulcer or cancer, they were going to treat it like an ulcer since the ultrasound was clear. She was at the ER most of yesterday.
Thursday- found a trail of blood from her rectum, lethargic, not eating or drinking, taking her back to the ER |
