Hello Everyone,
My seven year old Yorkie Sonny hind legs stopped working yesterday. I called the vet and they said they didn't have any appointments available. I took him to a 24 hour pet hospital. He took x Rays and nothing was broken. The doctor stated he hurt his back. She said that she could do medical treatments or he needed surgery. However, I took him to my vet today. The vet gave him some prednisone and said to keep him in the crate. Only take him out of the crate to take him outside to urinate. I will have to help him urniate.
He said that he is a good candidate for surgery and that he would have to refer me. He want to see him back in two weeks.
I love Sonny so much and don't know what to do. It's very hard to see him like this. Someone please help me... What else can I do?
