I can understand people being protective over a puppy, but the Yorkie I wanted to see was probably pushing 1 year old. They should have had her vaccinated by that age, if they are good doggie parents. I got the impression that it was his wife/girlfriend's dog and that he could care less. Maybe if she had been the one taking it out then it would have been different.

I love to share my babies. I do watch how other people treat the dogs and if they are not being nice I remove the dog from the situation. I am not afraid to take my dogs away from people who are not being nice to them.

I just feel like maybe some people don't love Yorkies as a general like the people on here do. They may like their dog, but are not crazy for Yorkies like I am. LOL
